Funerals

Saying goodbye to a loved one is an incredibly personal and meaningful event, and experts say it is a key part of expressing grief. It is important that you are able to honour your loved one’s life in a way that reflects their life style, relationships, beliefs and experiences.

I provide help and support to you, your family and friends to create the most appropriate and meaningful ceremony for this ultimate act of love and respect.  Each service will be developed to fit your wishes and this can include individual eulogies, readings, hymns, poems, music, or videos. For those family and friends that cannot attend in person ‘live streaming’ of the service may also be possible. The ceremony can take place at the crematorium, burial site or other place of significance to the deceased and family.

Following your initial contact, I will meet with you and your family (both related or friend) at a location that suits you. I will take you through the next stages of the ceremony/service planning process: drafting the service and programme of events, liaising with all appropriate individuals to support personal eulogies or tributes, organising the music, liaising with the crematorium or venue, meeting guests on arrival and departure.

This meeting allows me to get to know you better but more importantly understand the one you have lost, who they were, who and what was important in their life and what type of service would best represent all the elements that made them special!  It is important to remember that not everyone wants to be remembered by a solemn service, sometimes an irreverent party is their last wish!

What is critical is that the actual service is as wonderful, emotional, light hearted or down right fun as they and you wish.

Giving your loved ones the send off they deserve.
